The file containing the trial version of
IntelliCAD can be
downloaded from
http://www.siacad.com. This is a self extracting file and is approximately
25 Mb in size. We
recommend that you save it to a folder on your hard disk rather
than simply running it. After you have downloaded the file, an
email with an unlock authorization code will be sent to you via
your nominated email address.
 If
you do not receive the code, please look in your spam filer box;
some IT managers will filter mail of this type. Please note that
Design Cad cannot provide the code, it will come from SIACAD.
The trial version will not allow you to save or print your work.
In all other respects it is a fully function program and should
give you ample opportunity to test your store of CD drawings
with it (for AutoCAD compatibility). We have provided several
sample files in the downloads section of this web site which you can use to test
IntelliCAD if you do not have access to .dwg files.
After
downloading the file, start Windows Explorer, navigate
to the directory in which you placed the self extracting EXE file.
Double click the file and an
automatic setup
installation process will take place, installing IntelliCAD.
We
recommend that you accept all of the defaults
during the install process.
IntelliCAD
will then be installed and a desk top short cut to
the program will be automatically created.
